One idea runs through the range: the number printed on a recliner's box is its folded depth, and that is never the number that decides whether it fits a room. Reclined depth plus the gap the mechanism needs is the figure that matters, and it is rarely stated next to the folded one. Sizing here computes and separates the two rather than repeating whichever number a listing led with.
What this site is
It is the reference for the range, not a shop. Prices are not printed here because they change too often to be useful; each product links to its current listing. What is published instead is the part that does not change: dimensions, mechanisms, and the arithmetic of what each piece needs from a room.
How the sizing figures are produced
Every check on the sizing pages is calculated, not written. Width and depth are taken from the listing's own Product Details section; clearance from the wall is that depth plus the gap the mechanism needs, computed rather than typed in beside the table. Where a figure has not yet been transcribed from a listing, the page says so rather than showing a guessed number.
Photographs are the manufacturer's. Specifications are as published by the manufacturer and are described as such throughout.
